Sex, Drugs, and VWAP

I’m going to keep this short and to the point.
Yesterday during my Warlock’s World live stream, I coined a new phrase that all VWAPians would do well to remember.
You know what this means?
As VWAPians, we can often have a profitable day of trading – cash in hand – before lunchtime.
In Warlock’s World, we hunt our handful of names, which I so graciously cherry pick for you every morning, we make our money, and walk away.
If you sit at the casino long enough, the house always wins. There’s no reason to give any of that hard earned money back.
For many, the psychological aspect of trading affects us when we lose. But it can also be just as detrimental when we win.
I know that sounds counterintuitive. But I’ve experienced it. It’s part of the lessons learned in blood that have made me the Warlock that I am today.
A few successful trades early in the day can make us as traders feel invincible. We can feel like we’re seeing the market well, making good trades, and hey, why not let it ride?
This is where our success can bite us right in the Kardashian Bottom.
It’s easy for one or two winning trades to turn into several losing trades by the end of the day if we don’t get up and walk away.
As 8-Baller says frequently: “Don’t trade your P&L (profit and loss).”
In Warlock’s World, we have to keep our wits about us, because the market is unforgiving and ready to pounce on any little mistake and take all of our money.
So even when you have a good trading day, it’s more than OK to take your ball and go home.
It’s the same as waiting for the right opportunity to trade. Sometimes we need to wait out our own trader psychology.
Thankfully, in Warlock’s World, we have Coach Brian King, who teaches the entire community about tackling your mindset so that you can be the best trader possible.
